You can hear their new album on NPR now. It comes out for real on Feb 15.
I've given it a couple listens already. The music is tinged with some of the electronic elements on "Digital Ash in a Digital Urn," but retains some of the folk/rock instrumentation. Oberst's lyrics seem more balanced and universal with less angst and blame.
Take a listen if you're interested. It's a good way to spend 45 minutes of your time during the icy/snowy weather.
