The Low End is from Manhattan, KS, where they regularly receive noise complaints aimed at their practice space/house venue, the Dead Birdhouse. Their songs present strange casts of characters--ranging from vandals to the Hemingway's ghost--set in landscapes from suburbia to Alaska. Their sounds are equally varied, moving from Americana to surf-pop and garage rock. They put out "¡Rerevolution!" in June 2011, and plan to release a full length, "Fake Natives," next February.
